The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Karnataka
results for the year 2012 will be announced on May 17. Around 8.5 lakh
students appeared for the SSLC examination.

Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri said that the results of II PU and SSLC examinations would be announced in the first and third weeks of May respectively.
He told media persons that with the cooperation of teachers, evaluation work was proceeding smooth now. Nearly half of the school textbooks for the next academic year are already printed and would be made available to all students before schools reopen, he said.
“For fifth and eighth standards, a new syllabus was prescribed and prepared. The Central syllabus was included for the PCMP combinations of Science stream in II PU,” Kageri said.
